Looking for something to do during the long cold winter ?
- Gift shop volunteers for weekend shifts – Sept – May – 1:00-4:00 training provided
- Event Volunteers: Help set up and attend events at the museum.
- Exhibit set-up and tear down:
- Cleaning the museum: Dusting, vacuuming etc. once/month
- Program Volunteers:
- Book Club once/month -Sept – May or June – can be whatever the volunteer wants it to be! afternoons ? evenings ?

50/50 tickets
We are selling 50/50 tickets as a fundraiser for the museum. If you would like to purchase a ticket or would be willing to volunteer to sell tickets at one of the local grocery stores, please contact Jo-Anne at the museum. (204) 642-4001.

You too can contribute.
In 2020 The New Iceland Heritage Museum will be installing an exhibit called “from our Attic – from our Ancestors”. This exhibit will include artifacts from our collection. We would like to involve a couple of interested individuals who would be willing to help us come up with a theme, and chose which artifacts that we will put on display.
This exhibit will run from April – August 31st, 2020
