Our Maple Leaf workshop with WAVE artist Gayle Halliwell, Saturday September 30, 1 and 3 p.m. (repeated).

Acrylic ink blends to create stunning colour combinations that are perfect for representing the beauty of a Manitoba fall. Participants will make a greeting card and a small work in acrylic ink in this hands-on activity. Focusing on our national symbol, the Maple Leaf, and using simple techniques for painting workshop is suitable for skilled and unskilled alike. Awaken the Canadian painter in you!

Two time slots are available: 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Limit of 10 participants per workshop; please stop by a half-hour before the workshop to register.

Entry to the workshop and the New Iceland Heritage Museum is free for this event.
