Skapti Sæmundur Halldórsson & Júliana Jóhanna Böðvarsdóttir
Skapti Skaptason Halldorson (b. April 16, 1896) worked at commercial fishing and carpentry. He married Kristine Thorkelson and they had six children: Kristin, Skafti Benedict (Scotty), Kristinn Thorkell, Gudmundur (Jimmy), Vilhjalmur (Bill) and Kenneth.
Böðvar Júlíus Skaptason Halldorson (b. Feb. 24, 1899) was a fisherman and trapper. He first married Anna Isfeld from Winnipeg Beach with whom he had a son Albert Laurence. Anna passed away in 1925 shortly after the birth of her son. Böðvar later married Tekla Wishnewski and had two daughters, Vivian Pearl and Annie Laurie.
Jóhanna Kristjána (Joa) (b. Aug. 26, 1901) married William Maas from Seattle Washington and resided in Arnes. The couple had three children: Benedict Harold, Margret, and Wallace.
Margrét (Margaret) (b. Sept. 22, 1903) worked in Winnipeg for the Keeler family for 25 years. During the 1940s she married Kjartan Thordarson.
Nói (Noah) Davíð Skaptason Halldorson (b. Nov. 1, 1905) worked as a commercial fisherman and mink rancher. He resided in Belair most of his adult life.
Grace Thorbjörg (b. July 25, 1907) had her schooling in Arnes and Gimli. She worked for the T. Eaton Co. in Winnipeg. In 1929 she was transferred to Calgary to help open a new Eaton’s store. She married Fred Westwell and had two children: Delores and Ronald.
Dagbjartur (Daniel) Skaptason Halldorson (b. May 28, 1909) first married Lena Thorkelson. Following a divorce, Daniel married Alice Fitch. The couple resided in Sandy Hook, but later moved to Brandon, MB. They had two sons: Ronald and Dan.
Sigurður (Siggi) Abraham Lincoln Skaptason Halldorson (b. May 28, 1909) married Sigurlin (Lena) Sigurdson from Silver Bay, near Ashern. Siggi worked in Winnipeg for the Steel Briggs Seed Co. and then as a Watkins Dealer. Siggi and Lena had two daughters: Alda and Margaret.
Magnús Halldór (Dori) Skaptason Halldorson (b. Nov. 12, 1915) worked as a commercial fisherman for all of his adult life. He married Margaret Johnson and they resided in Arnes.
