Narfason, Family of "Víðivöllum" | |||||
Paul and Olan IsfeldÓlöf Anna (Olan) was born on July 8, 1935 to Elli and Runa Narfason of “Víðivöllum.” She married Paul Isfeld (b. Nov. 9, 1929) in 1952 and they live in Winnipeg Beach. Olan continues to be a homemaker and also devotes her time to various activities in the United Church at Winnipeg Beach where she has been the Church organist for the last twenty-eight years. Paul has retired from his job at Seagrams distillery but continues to spend time fishing both summer and fall. They have three children: Lana Gale (Feb. 10, 1953), who worked for a short time at the Toronto Dominion Bank before her marriage to Barry Arnason (see the Frank Arnason story). They have three children: Rhett Kristjan (b. Oct. 17 1975), who married Holly Gudbjartson of Gimli and has a child Hannah Grace (b. June 23, 2002), Russel Barry (b. Sept. 19, 1978), who married Jana Rosger on July 6, 2002, and Hayley Olana-Marie (b. Jan 5, 1983). They all live in Winnipeg. Paulette Olan (b. Nov. 1, 1955) took a Secretary of Health Records course at Red River Community College and worked at this for a number of years at the Manitoba Clinic in Winnipeg. She married Arthur Rodgers in 1975 and they had a son Arthur Hill (b. Aug. 27, 1978) who has a son of his own named Daniel Michael (b. Aug. 23, 2000). After a divorce Paulette married Carey Tomchuk. They had one daughter Trisha Gayle (b. Aug. 24, 1988). This marriage also ended in divorce. In 2001, Paulette married Eric Walker and they make ther home in Bredenbury, Saskatchewan. |
Alexander Paul (b. May. 25, 1959), who obtained a degree in Theology from the Canadian Bible College in Regina and works as the Pastor of the Alliance Church in Airdire, Alberta. He married Marianne Hertzsprung and they have three children, Brandon Mark (b. Mar. 23, 1994), Ryan Michael Paul (b. Feb. 9, 1996), and Carly Janelle (b. Aug. 1, 1999). The Narfason Family
